Monday Night ‘Free Tournaments’
August 23rd Pop’s Poker Turbo Freeroll
We have decided to stop waiting and get things rolling! So let’s build our poker community by coming together to enjoy each others’ company over a great game of Texas Hold‘em! Sponsored by Cheers, we are offering a “Get Registered Freeroll” Tournament with a guaranteed $550 prize-pool open to everyone.
Previously we had announced that we would be throwing a partner/team tournament, however, this is NOT A PARTNER/TEAM TOURNAMENT, it is a standard individual tournament. We are still considering having a partner/team tournament, however not at this point in time. Sorry for any confusion.
This is an entirely free event, with NO ENTRY FEE. We simply want to introduce our poker room to poker players while we continue to wait for our license. We also aim to issue player cards to all newly registered players. Please bring your ID in order to register, and anticipate a delay in registration, so please show up EARLY to register. Registration will begin at 5pm.

The payouts are as follows:
1st place – $250
2nd place – $150
3rd place – $100
4th place – $50
You must sign up through our EventBrite page in order to reserve your seat. We are issuing more invitations than we have space for, so players will be seated according to reservations (through EventBrite) on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED basis. Walk-ins (not registered on EventBrite) will be placed on a “walk-in” list and allowed to manually register at 6pm based on a first come first served basis.
Registration will open at 5pm, cards in the air at 6pm.
This tournament is limited to the first 90 players who register and show up. We begin to accept walk-ins who are not registered at 6pm. Priority is always given to pre-registered players. We may be able to accommodate additional players based on players who bust out before registration ends after level 5 and the first break (around 7:15pm). Re-entries are not allowed.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase, including Pop’s Club Wrap, Three Slider Plate, Hot Dog w/ Chili, Kettle Chips, Wedge Salad, Cheesecake etc.
- All televised sporting events will be available on our 60+ TVs!
- Live dealers will be dealing and handling all of the action!
- Tournament Directors Association (TDA) rules apply to all tournaments.
- Reservations for this tournament are managed through EventBrite
